We are committed to understanding the needs of each pupil so that we can provide the most rewarding tuition for them.

Here is some feedback from parents who have used Enjoy Education tutors.  We have not included full names because we like to protect the confidentiality of parents and children at all times:

Aged 4 upwards:  Boy aged 6 – literacy and numeracy

‘We contacted Enjoy Education because we were worried that our son had mild learning difficulties which had not been diagnosed.  He was struggling at school and rapidly losing confidence.  Even after a few sessions with the tutor his attitude towards homework changed and he actually started to look forward to school.  The tutor used imaginative and fun ways to help him understand what he was learning.  Lucas thrived off the individual attention and he’s now a much happier child both at school and at home.’   –  Mrs P-W

Common Entrance:

11+:  Girl aged 10 – English, Maths, Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning

‘We were terribly concerned that our daughter wouldn’t get through her 11+ Common Entrance because she’s never been top of her class.  We needed help with Maths and English and the tutor was just brilliant.  He kept our daughter to a structured timetable making sure she covered all the exam material.  Our daughter got into the school of her choice and we found out her best marks were in Maths and creative writing.   I’ve no doubt we shall be enlisting the services of Enjoy Education again in the future.’   –  Mrs L

11+:   Boy aged 10 – English Comprehension and Creative Writing

‘We asked Enjoy Education to tutor our son for 11+ English, which was his weakest subject. After a short period of tutoring our son quickly started to grasp the subject and went on to achieve top marks in his English comprehension paper.  We are thrilled with Enjoy Education’s approach and commitment and it is lovely to see our son’s self-esteem grow along with an understanding as to why education is so important.’   –  Mrs S

13+:  Boy aged 13 – mainly French with help across the board

‘Enjoy Education helped my son prepare for his 13+ Common Entrance.  Before tutoring, French was his worst subject but owing to the tutor’s dedication he achieved 81% in his French exam which was a huge improvement. Oxbridge Application: Girl aged 18 - History, Trinity College

‘I was applying to read History at Trinity College, Oxford and Alice helped prepare me for my interview.  Unlike tutors I had previously been taught by, her help was not restricted to our sessions alone. She always checked that I had fully understood what we had covered in our lessons and provided useful tools for my preparation. In between sessions, she was always easily contactable and encouraged me to call or e-mail her for any help I might need.

Degree / Adult Tuition:  Girl aged 24 – International Studies

‘I have obtained an MA in International Studies from SOAS-University of London. As a non-native speaker of English, I needed some tutoring especially in essay writing and style. Ben has been a great helper and supporter throughout the year. He encouraged me during my first few coursework essays and has tutored me in International law and helped me through the process of writing my dissertation.

Whatever I write will not do justice to how great his work was as a tutor.  He helped me through the hard parts of my MA course and stood with me to the last minute. He is an excellent tutor and I would recommend him and Enjoy Education to other fellow students.’  - Anna

Short-Term Tuition:  Boy aged 13 – French and Latin

‘We asked Enjoy Education to prepare our son in French and Latin during the summer holidays, ready to start his new school.  He had no previous knowledge of either language and had a year’s work to catch up.  His tutor first assessed his abilities and then set out a tutoring timetable. He not only caught up but shot ahead of his class mates going on to come first in his Latin exam and third in his French exam.
