The Enjoy Approach
approach has 5 key steps:
- Initial consultation
- Assessment and target setting
- Programme design
- Ongoing support
- Beyond the Enjoy school
Some children need a break from mainstream education to re-calibrate and find their strengths, or have specific mental health challenges or SEN that need dedicated care and expertise. Some families choose home-schooling as a lifestyle choice; to allow for travel, facilitate a relocation. Some seek to achieve top GCSE or A-Level grades or to have a schedule allowing them to perform at a professional level in sport, drama and the arts. Every child is different and our mission is to help students flourish and grow at the pace that is right for them.
There is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ time to start home-schooling – you cannot miss the boat! Our home-schooling team take on new students throughout the academic year.
Enjoy Education are proud to have over a decade’s experience helping families navigate the home-schooling journey. Last academic year we worked with over 100 families to deliver tailor-made home-schooling programmes, equipping students for a return to mainstream education and building confidence, resilience and self-worth. Our approach is unrivalled:
We invest time and our 10 years of expertise to tailor-make 360° programmes that care for the whole child, understanding their goals and ways of learning. Our network of trusted mental health, SEN and learning needs professionals can help with a range of needs and work seamlessly with your tutor teams.
How students learn is as important as what they learn. Enjoy’s home schooling approach is bespoke to every child, from the tutors we introduce, to the subjects they study, to how each day and week are structured. This personalised approach takes students beyond ‘book learning’, so that students can discover their passions, overcome hurdles and develop confidence, curiosity and creativity in their education journey.
We believe that education happens everywhere and at all times. In our experience, tutors often become mentor figures and support their home-schooling student beyond the curriculum to become rounded learners. Whether this is through regular academic excursions, or shared passion projects, we see our students grow and build a lifelong confidence they may not have experienced in their academic studies. Engaging and meaningful extra-curricular activities ensure their social and emotional skills are nurtured and developed.
Exams require planning. We take away the worry of missing deadlines, choosing syllabuses, submitting coursework and registering for entrance, GCSE and A Level exams so that you can focus on positive learning. This academic year, our home-schooling team is already working with nearly 30 exam year students to help families navigate these tricky areas.
We want our students to become well-rounded and confident learners. We introduce fun and inspiring tutors to give students the opportunity to try exciting new extra-curriculars that feed into their passions – from dance and drama to coding and sewing. Enjoy Education also runs a dedicated social calendar for home-schooling students, so that our home-schoolers can meet and go on exciting excursions together with Enjoy.
